Dr Sam Darwish General Practitioner

Dr Sam Darwish graduated from University of Alexandria in Egypt in 2009 after completing his basic medical education. He moved to Australia in 2012 to start his training in general practice.
Dr Darwish attained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in July 2021. He provides universal healthcare across all aspects of general practice, and is specially interested in surgical procedures including skin cancer diagnosis, surveillance, and treatment. Dr Darwish has trained with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and received its certificate in 2018. He is also interested in women’s health, men’s health, sexual health, and mental health and many more. He is fluent in English and Arabic.

Dr Youstina Mesak General Practitioner

Dr Youstina Mesak is very knowledgeable in all aspects of General Practice and has extensive knowledge and interest in women’s health. When it comes to her patients she is caring, genuine, and thorough with her approach. Dr Mesak is fluent in Arabic and English.

Dr Marcy Govender General Practitioner

Dr Marcy Govender has been practising as a General Practitioner for over 30 years. She graduated from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2006, and has been an examiner for the RACGP for the past 12 years. She has been practising in Melbourne since 2003, and has an interest in all aspects of general practice, with a keen focus on chronic disease management and women’s health. Her loving and caring attitude towards patients, together with her thorough assessment of clinical presentations makes her a well sought after GP.

Dr Zipei Zhang General Practitioner

Dr Zipei Zhang graduated from University of Glasgow School of Medicine in 2016. He completed his General Practice training in England, and attained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK) in 2022. He is thorough, caring, empathetic, and has a keen interest in all aspects of General Practice, with an interest in Chronic Disease Management and Mental Health.

Dr David Morrell Psychologist

Dr David Morrell holds a diverse educational background with qualifications including a Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Social Work, Post Graduate Degree in Psychology, and Doctorate of Psychology from Melbourne University. He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, as well as the Forensic and Clinical Colleges.

Dr Morrell is a dedicated clinical and forensic psychologist who is passionate about skiing, travel, and hiking. He values time spent with his family and finds fulfilment in his work and the meaningful connections he forms. He provides clinical and forensic-based services and uses a therapeutic approach to evidence-based counselling for any patient over the age of 15 years.

Dr Hee Hung Yii General Practitioner

MB BCh BAO (National University of Ireland), FRNZCGP, FRNZCUC

Dr. Hee Hung Yii was born in Malaysia, and spent time studying and working in Ireland, before moving to New Zealand. He completed his specialist training in New Zealand and became a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners as well as the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care.

His experience in urgent care means that he has extensive experience in managing musculoskeletal issues and sports injuries. He also has a special interest in dermatology and is working towards his advanced certificates in dermoscopy and skin cancer medicine. He also enjoys procedural work and can provide steroid injections to shoulders, carpal tunnels and wrists. His interests also extend to chronic care conditions such as asthma, eczema, and diabetes, as well as other chronic medical conditions, mental health and women’s health.

He speaks English fluently and is able to converse in Malay and Hokkien as well. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and tries to keep fit by playing soccer and running.

Dr Chang Yung Tan General Practitioner

MBChB, MRCGP, PG Dip Clinical Dermatology, DFSRH

Dr Chang Yung Tan is a Malaysian born General Practitioner who trained in the UK. He graduated in 2012 from University of Aberdeen before moving to Manchester, UK. He completed 3 years of Emergency Medicine training before changing to GP and attained his Membership of the Royal College of General Practice (MRCGP) in 2020. He is a compassionate and dedicated doctor who is fluent in English and Cantonese.

With extensive experience across diverse cultural settings in a metropolitan city, Dr Tan provides personalized medical care for patients of all ages and backgrounds. His practice encompasses a broad spectrum of healthcare needs, including urgent care, chronic health conditions, mental health, paediatrics, men’s health, women’s health, musculoskeletal disorders and geriatric medicine.

Dr Tan has a special interest in sexual health, LGBT health, and dermatology. He worked in a sexual health clinic for 5 years prior to relocating to Melbourne. He completed a Diploma in Faculty of Sexual Health (UK) in 2023 and can provide advice on contraception. He obtained a post graduate diploma in clinical dermatology (PG Dip Clinical Dermatology) from Queen Mary University of London in 2022.
