Dr Marcy Govender General Practitioner
Dr Marcy Govender has been practising as a General Practitioner for over 30 years. She graduated from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2006, and has been an examiner for the RACGP for the past 12 years. She has been practising in Melbourne since 2003, and has an interest in all aspects of general practice, with a keen focus on chronic disease management and women’s health. Her loving and caring attitude towards patients, together with her thorough assessment of clinical presentations makes her a well sought after GP.
Dr Mahomed Moosa General Practitioner
Dr Mahomed Moosa has been a General Practitioner for over 40 years in the western suburbs of Melbourne, and has been practising at Kealba Family Practice since 2012. Dr Moosa has special interests including all aspects of general practice, and enjoys the wide variety of patients in general practice. He speaks English, Hindi, and Zulu.
Dr Somayeh (Somi) Mohaghegh General Practitioner
Dr Somayeh (Somi) Mohaghegh graduated from Medical School of AJUMS in 2010. She has been working as a GP in Iran for 6 years before moving to Australia with her family where she has worked in rural Queensland for more than 2 years before moving to Melbourne. She has recently completed RACGP Fellowship Exam.
Dr Mohaghegh is a passionate GP with special interests in skin cancer medicine, mental health and women’s health. She is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia (SCCA) and actively participates in their educational workshop to upscale her abilities in skin checks and skin cancer surgery. She holds a FPAA National Certificate in reproductive and sexual health from Family Planning Alliance Australia and is happy to provide all aspects of women’s health for her patients. She also has completed GP Psychological Medicine Training and is happy to provide patients with psychological consultation regarding anxiety and depression.
Dr Faith Drew General Practitioner
Dr Faith Drew was born in Philippines where she finished her medical degree. She went straight to Paediatric Training after medical school but then moved to Australia in 2012 after finishing paediatrics. Dr Drew is an Australian Medical Council (AMC) graduate 2014. She worked as a Resident Medical officer for almost 3yrs in Eastern Health then entered the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) in 2016. She worked as a GP registrar in Queensland but then moved in the Northern territory until she finished her fellowship exams in 2018. Her special interests include women’s health including but not limited to family planning, antenatal care, IUD insertion and removal, men’s health, paediatrics, preventative care, chronic disease management, travel health, mental health, and Aboriginal health.
